A Bellingham planning team will present key concepts on updates to planning priorities in the city’s downtown district during a Downtown Plan Open House from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11, in the Encore Room of the Mount Baker Theatre, located at 104 N. Commercial St.

Planners have spent the past two years developing new ideas and concepts to direct growth in Bellingham’s commercial core.

The Dec. 11 event will allow local residents to review aspects of the current plan and talk with members of the planning team. A presentation will be held from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and the open house will begin afterward.
