Pacific Arts Holiday Market opening in former Dream On Futon space

Pacific Arts Holiday Market will launch its 13th year in holiday craft sales on Dec. 3 at 119 W. Chestnut St., an 8,000-square-foot space that is the former home of Dream On Futon.

The annual craft show features local artists and artisans selling a variety of products from jewelry and pottery to clothing and paintings. The market will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday through Sunday for the first three weekends of December.

“The goal of Pacific Arts is to provide the public with a chance to meet face-to-face with the vendors, and give a platform for artists to show and sell their work,” event organizer Erin Boyd, owner of Redboots Design, said in press release. “Pacific Arts also encourages people to buy locally and support our regional, local economy. This is a unique venue and provides a more personal, off-the-beaten-path shopping alternative, which in turn enhances the culture of downtown Bellingham.”

Pacific Arts will kick off the holiday season in conjunction with the monthly Downtown Art Walk from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Dec. 3.

Pacific Arts is a member of the Downtown Bellingham Partnership. For more information, visit www.pacificartsholidaymarket.com.
