The second annual PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center Nurses of Excellence Awards were presented Jan. 11, during a ceremony honoring and acknowledging the legacy of nursing and the enduring contributions nurses make to patients, families and the community they serve.
Last year, the Nursing “Wall of Excellence” was established in the corridor near the medical center’s east tower. The wall includes an art piece, “Healing Garden” by Seattle artist Kim Drew, as well as nursing awards. The wall’s art and award plaques reflect PeaceHealth nurses’ passion, gifts and compassionate service.
