On July 1, 2008, Madrona Medical Group merged with St. Joseph Medical Group to become PeaceHealth Medical Group with nearly 100 physicians and more than two dozen clinics and services.  The goal was to increase the seamlessness of care and to improve community access to quality healthcare for a growing population.

Future projects for PeaceHealth include the development of a medical home model in the Center for Senior Health, as well as the addition of a dozen new physicians to increase access and expand surgery, Ob-Gyn, neurology and dermatology.
