Michelle Barrett has joined the Peoples Bank executive management team as a senior vice president and human resources director. Barrett brings 20 years of HR experience including her work at a leading local retailer and the last 10 years as HR director for a local municipality.
“I am excited to lead Peoples Bank toward continued success in developing a professional, performance-based workforce that is focused on delivering a higher level of service to the bank’s customers,” Barrett said in a press release.
Barrett received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a minor in economics from Western Washington University. Barrett also earned a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certificate from the Society of Human Resources Management. She is active with the Washington Bankers Association and the Society of Human Resources Management. She was also very involved with the Washington Public Employers Labor Relations Association, E-government, and the First Presbyterian Youth Committee.
