Peoples Bank has promoted Christopher Neros to senior vice president and commercial lending officer. The Lynden-based bank also announced Adam Rustad’s move from its Mount Vernon branch to Bellingham.
Both Neros and Rustad are based at the bank’s Barkley Financial Center in Bellingham.
Neros, who’s been with Peoples Bank for six years, has 17 years’ experience in the banking industry.
“Christopher demonstrates a level of professionalism in his daily work that supports the bank’s focus on superior customer service, as well as credit quality,” Charles LeCocq, Peoples Bank president and CEO, said in a Feb. 22 press release. “Many of Christopher’s customers appreciate his advice and counsel and consider him a valuable member of their team.
Rustad, a longtime Whatcom County resident, joined the bank in 2006. He has spent the past five years working with commercial loan customers in Island and Skagit counties.
“We are pleased to have Adam join our Whatcom County team,” said Terry Daughters, the bank’s senior vice president and Whatcom County business team leader. “He has done a fine job serving customers in Skagit and Island counties, and we are excited to add his skill and knowledge of local business to our team here in Whatcom County.”
