The Port of Bellingham commission could make a decision on whom to hire as its new executive director at its next meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
The executive job is listed as an action item on the meeting’s revised agenda, which can be viewed on the port’s website.
The port announced three candidates for job during a commission meeting last month.
– Jonathan Daniels, executive director for the Port of Oswego, N. Y.
– William (Bill) Panos, public works and port director for the city of West Sacramento, Calif.
– Les Reardanz, chief administration officer for the Port of Everett.
The three were selected from a field of 95 potential candidates.
Rob Fix, the port’s deputy director and CFO, has acted as interim executive since former director Charlie Sheldon resigned in April.
