The Bellingham Public Development Authority holds its regularly monthly board meeting at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 21, in the Federal Building in downtown Bellingham.
According to the meeting’s agenda, available on the agency’s website, the BPDA board of directors plans to discuss their 2013 budget, including determination and approval of a preferred budget alternative and a preferred mix of projects.
The development agency was created by city ordinance to provide autonomy in developing public properties together with private property owners and investors. It focuses its operations on downtown Bellingham, the Waterfront District and the Old Town District, according to the BPDA website.
The Aug. 21 meeting will be held in Suite 308 of the Federal Building, located at 104 W. Magnolia St.
