A public information meeting regarding a proposed permanent supportive housing project on Cornwall Avenue in downtown Bellingham will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21, at the Spark Museum of Electrical Invention, located at 1312 Bay St.
Catholic Housing Services of Western Washington has proposed construction of a 42-unit supportive housing facility at 1100 Cornwall Ave.
Representatives of Catholic Housing Services, Catholic Community Services, Opportunity Council, Whatcom Counseling and Psychiatric Clinic, Northwest Youth Services, Whatcom County Health Department and the Whatcom Homeless Service Center will be at the meeting to answer questions.
Catholic Housing Services operates a variety of programs and facilities, including transitional and supportive housing units, to help homeless men, women and children.
