Public schools foundation hosts Night Out for STEM

To promote and fundraise for science, technology, engineering and math in public schools, the Bellingham Public Schools Goundation is hosting an event called Night Out for STEM on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

The event goes from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Bellingham Golf and Country Club, at 3729 Meridian St. It includes talks from professionals and students and interactive demonstrations.

The event is sponsored by Phillips 66, Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington and Mindfly. Phillips 66 will match the first $5,000 in donations.
