Registration is now open for Ragfinery’s new upcycling fashion challenge, called the Fancy Pants Runway Challenge.

Up to 25 participants will transform one pair of tuxedo pants and one cocktail dress into one creative new garment. Registration is $20, and participants can sign up at Ragfinery at 1421 N. Forest St. in Bellingham.

Deadline for submissions is May 13 at 5 p.m., and participants will model their creations at the runway show and judging contest on May 20 at 7 p.m. at the Leopold Crystal Ballroom at 1224 Cornwall St. in Bellingham.
