RE Sources’ workshop series, “Rainwater Harvesting and Smart Use,” begins Saturday, April 21.
The events, which run until May 19, are designed to teach people how to save time, save money and mitigate pollution from rainwater runoff.
Participants will learn about starting or upgrading home rainwater catchment, filtration and irrigation projects using re-purposed materials. Each workshop will include both an in-class and hands-on demonstration.
Instructors include Andrea Hood, Bay Renaud, Anitra Accetturo and Michael Laurie.
The workshops will take place at The RE Store, located at 2309 Meridian St. in Bellingham. Registration for each workshop varies from $30-65 and can be completed via Brown Paper Tickets or by calling 360-733-8307.
More information on each workshop is also available at the Brown Paper Tickets website.
The events are hosted by RE Sources for Sustainable Communities and the city of Bellingham.
