Nominations are being sought for this year’s Professional Woman of the Year.

The Whatcom Women In Business gives out the award annually to a professional woman who mentors, donates her time and resources to her community.

The winner is announced at the organization’s annual banquet on Oct. 28, which raises scholarship money for women seeking to further their education locally.

Deadline is July 15.
