At a recent recognition dinner, eight staff memebers from the Mt. Baker Chapter of the Red Cross gathered with 130 local volunteers to honor the hard work and contributions of the businesses and volunteers who have helped the organization.

In addition to awards given to 30 dedicated Red Cross volunteers, local businesses were honored for their support of the Red Cross mission to prevent, prepare for and respond to disasters.

The Chairman’s Award was presented to BP Cherry Point Refinery and the Good Neighbor Award honored Sunshine Printing, Alcoa Intalco Works, and Little Caesar’s Pizza.
