Six real estate agents with RE/MAX Whatcom County were recognized among the top producers in the company’s Pacific Northwest region.

Chris Weitzel of the RE/MAX Sudden Valley office and Linda Zemler of the Bellingham office ranked in the top 20 in total transactions closed throughout 2011. Weitzel was individually ranked 15th, and Zemler ranked 8th as a team leader.

Those who ranked in the top 50 in total transactions in January 2012 included Weitzel and Zemler, as well as Matt McBeath, Brandon Nelson, Jim Sands and John Vande Hoef. Weitzel ranked first individually.

“These agents have worked hard to achieve this outstanding level of sales during this difficult market,” said Lori Reece, owner of RE/MAX Whatcom County, said in a March 27 press release. “Ranking among the top agents in the Pacific Northwest region is a tremendous accomplishment. They all continue to raise the bar in real estate, making us and this community proud.”
