ReUse Works has its new executive director. Dori Eppstein has been hired to replace founding director Duane Jager, who will retire this month.
Eppstein has year of experience in both the nonprofit and entrepreneurial spaces. In Colorado, she turned a struggling therapeutic horse riding nonprofit into a successful organization. Since moving to Bellingham in 2014, she has been a professional consultant both as a life and business coach. At ReUSe Works, her priority will be to grow Ragfinery, the recently launched textile reuse business. A welcoming reception for Eppstein will be on Thursday, June 16 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Ragfinery, 1421 North Forest St.
ReUse Works operates both Ragfinery and Appliance Depot.
