Rice Insurance has hired Abby Mumford, Mercedes Miller and Pauline Black.

Mumford spent four years as a commercial account manager at Wagner Insurance in Marysville and six years at the former Safeco Insurance Campus in Redmond working in the personal lines underwriting department.

She lives at Wiser Lake in Lynden with her husband, three daughters and three American bulldogs.

Miller joined Rick Insurance in November 2011 as a personal lines customer service representative. She has worked in insurance for nearly 10 years focusing on personal commercial lines. Miller also previously worked as a licensed paramedic for several years.

Black joins the company with more than 14 years of personal lines insurance experience. She is active in the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of Washington’s Board of Directors and the Young Agents Committee.
