Rice Insurance in Bellingham announced six recent hires.

Sandie Mathewson was hired as a sales and service manager. Mathewson has previous experience in both the banking and insurance sectors.

Tim Welch joins as a marketing director and producer. Welch recently graduated from Western Washington University, where he studied finance and accounting.

Amy Dalton was hired as an administrative assistant. Dalton has previous experience in customer service, including stints with retail and food service companies.

Caleb Hazel joins as a producer. Hazel has experience in sales and an educational background in business management.

Andrea Ebalo was hired as a mail clerk. Ebalo has a background in accounting.

Nancy Lovatt joins as a commercial customer service representative. Lovatt entered the insurance industry in 2004, after moving to Bellingham from the Seattle area.
