Robinson receives sustainability certification

The Bellingham Business Journal

Sharon Robinson of Zervas Group Architects successfully completed training and exams in September to become a National Sustainable Building Advisor.

The nine-month course leading up to this certification covered all areas of design sustainability, including low-impact site design, renewable energy resources, energy saving design, green material selection and indoor air quality.

Already a LEED-accredited professional, Robinson used the course to further her knowledge of the most current sustainable building concepts, including Zero Energy Homes and the Living Building Challenge.

Robinson plans to continue pursuing advanced certifications in the LEED AP specialty.
