Jim Ross has joined Whidbey Island Bank in Bellingham as a real estate loan officer.
Ross will be responsible for the origination of residential, custom construction and land/building site loans in Whatcom County.
He has more than 23 years of mortgage lending and banking experience in the Pacific Northwest. Before joining Whidbey Island Bank, Ross was employed at Key Bank Mortgage in Bellingham, and prior to that he was owner, president and managing broker for Mortgage Express in Bellingham from 1990 to 2008.
Ross is a supporter of both the Whatcom County Boys and Girls Club and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He is a graduate of Vincennes University in Indiana, holding an associate degree in banking and finance. Ross and his family reside in Blaine.
