RSVP for palliative care talk in Lynden

Northwest Adult Day Health and Wellness Center presents “How Palliative Care Improves Quality of Life for People with Serious Illness” from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Feb. 25 at the center at 851 Aaron Drive, Lynden.

Dr. Bree Johnston, medical director of Palliative Care for the PeaceHealth system, will discuss the needs of people with serious chronic illnesses, and how most people want and need both a curative approach as well as interventions that provide relief from symptoms and stress.
