Saturna Capital has hired seven new employees for newly created positions within the business. Saturna’s staff is now compromised of 52 members within its newly remodeled headquarters in downtown Bellingham.
John Scott and Ben Bortner have been added as investment analysts to Saturna’s research team. They will be responsible for market sector research and fundamental company analysis to support the management of more than $2.5 billion in mutual fund and individual investment account assets.
Kalen Hanna joined Saturna in August as an investor services representative and fund accountant.
Renee Dimond filled the newly created position of systems assistant in Saturna’s information technology department. Dimond supports the day-to-day IT needs.
Jennifer Ferlin joined Saturna in December as an operations clerk and receptionist. Rose Abbaspour joined the company as a part-time accounting clerk to assist with corporate accounting and accounts payable.
Ellen Lillegard, administrative coordinator, is a new hire who is based in Saturna’s Reno, Nev. office. Lillegard provides research and clerical support to Saturna’s team of mutual fun wholesalers.
