With four new analysts based in the U.S. and Malaysia, Saturna Capital Corporation of Bellingham plans to further its expansion into the global investment world.
Scott Klimo has joined as director of research, a new position at Saturna. Klimo will oversee the companies overall global research operations and lead further expansion of the firm’s research capabilities with an emphasis on foreign markets.
Tyler Howard has joined as a junior analyst.
Klimo and Howard are based in Saturna’s Bellingham headquarters.
Christina Yap joins as an investment analyst with a primary focus on the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
Neoh Boon Sing joins as equity analyst with expertise in Malaysia and Singapore markets, specializing in the plantation, consumer and commercial real estate sectors.
In a press release, Saturna’s president and CEO Jane Carten said it was a favorable time for the company to add new personnel.
“Growing our analyst team demonstrates our deep commitment to rigorous fundamental security research and analysis,” Carten said. “As a global asset manager, we have focused our recruitment efforts on finding seasoned talent with hands-on investment experience in foreign markets.”
