All ages and experience levels are welcome, though understanding of the game is important. While the tournament is not an officially sanctioned Scrabble tournament, it is always a fun, competitive day led by a nationally-ranked player and in support of the Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center, a local non-profit. All proceeds will benefit the WDRC.
The WDRC is a non-profit dedicated to educating and training the public in peaceful conflict resolution skills, and providing trained mediators to empower the community to resolve conflicts in equitable and cooperative ways. More information can be found at www.whatcomdrc.org or by calling 676-0122.
