David Wiggs, former owner of Signs By Tomorrow, has launched Hitch, a specialty marketing consultancy aimed at helping companies evaluate and hire the best marketing firm for their brand or project. Specific services include marketing needs assessments, agency evaluations, deep research and intelligence on marketing firms, pitch management,industry best practices, strategy, and budgeting.
Hitch focuses primarily on West Coast clients, but the company works across the United States. For example, the company’s first agency search project was for the Bellingham-based McNett Corp. and the next engagement was for a financial services firm in Connecticut.
As a former director of new business for a Virginia ad agency and former owner of Signs By Tomorrow, Wiggs said he brings a dual perspective to the agency search process. He said Hitch’s role is to make an agency search faster, less risky, less expensive, and ensure a much higher probability of success for both client and agency.
