Sonya's Furniture Outlet moves to Ferndale

The Bellingham Business Journal

Sonya’s Furniture Outlet, which offers brand-name furniture at discount prices, recently moved to a larger and more visible site in Ferndale’s Pacific Commerce Center.

The store reopened May 1 at 5060 Pacific Highway #121, next to Northwest Hot Springs and just off Interstate 5 between Slater and West Smith roads.

“We’re excited to be in an area that has other home-related businesses such as spas, paint, heating systems and much more, so it’s an ideal fit for us,” said owner Sonya Mozes. “Also, our 14,800-square-foot building is 50 percent larger than our previous space and has plenty of natural lighting.”

Sonya’s Furniture Outlet, which opened in January 2008 on the Guide Meridian near Laurel, offers new furniture for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, entertainment areas and offices. The store has an array of leather and fabric sofas, sectionals, love seats, accent chairs and recliners. Mozes added that she has brought in several lines of bar stools in response to customer requests.

Sonya’s Furniture Outlet is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays. For more information, call (360) 778-1369 or visit
