Robyn du Pré, executive director at RE Sources, a Bellingham nonprofit that operates the RE Store on Meridian Street and promotes sustainable communities, will be leaving her position as executive director in March.
In an e-mail, du Pré said she is leaving to spend more time with her family, especially her elderly mother.
“This decision is a difficult one for me, as I love this organization and the people that I am honored to work with every day,” she said.
RE Sources’ staff and board will be stepping up to ensure a smooth transition. The board has named Program Director Crina Hoyer to serve as interim executive director.
The nonprofit will begin a search process for a new executive director in the next few weeks.
