The Washington State Liquor Control Board plans to auction off its remaining inventory of nearly $1.29 million worth of alcohol and related products.
The live auction will take place on Thursday, Nov. 1, at the liquor board’s distribution center at 4401 E. Marginal Way in Seattle.
Eligible auction participants include spirits retailers, spirits distributors and most restaurant licensees who are age 21 or older. The auction is not open to the general public.
About 15,000 cases of alcohol and related products will be up for bid. They have been divided into 138 lots, including lots for mini bottles, pints and other small sizes, high-dollar items, as well as mixed products.
Prospective bidders will need to pay a deposit of $5,000. Registration will start at 8 a.m., and live bids begin at 10 a.m.
