State's health exchange delays vote on coverage plans

The board for Washington state’s new health-insurance exchange system has delayed a vote on approving 31 coverage plans that would participate.

Several insurance providers that were rejected by the state’s insurance commission are appealing their exclusion, the Associated Press reports.

The health exchange is set to open on Oct. 1.
