The fifth annual Sunnyland Stomp, featuring art, music and food and racing chickens, will take place on Saturday, July 13, in Bellingham’s Sunnyland neighborhood.
The event will feature 20 backyard galleries and artisan food samples.
“The stomp has continued to grow and evolve every year,” said Alice Clark, the event organizer, in a press release. “The number of galleries stays relatively the same, but we expose new people every year to the event and more people show up curious to see what it’s all about. We also have added the Great Chicken Race this year, just for fun.”
Galleries will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. The chicken race is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (with chicken registration at 1:30 p.m.) at Sunnyland Park. No dogs are allowed at the park during the race.
