Sustainable Connections is partnering up with local businesses help them reduce their waste. The Toward Zero Waste Campaign by Sustainable Connections is a free program that helps businesses reduce the amount of waste and increase the amount they recycle and compost. Sustainable Connections continues to look for more businesses to partner with.

In 2016, so far more than 50 companies joined the campaign. More than 400 companies in Whatcom County have participated since it began in 2008.

Sustainable Connections is a nonprofit that aims to educate businesses on sustainable, clean practices.
