Update (Feb. 20): Changes have been made to this story to reflect rescheduled dates for these events.
The Bellingham nonprofit Sustainable Connections is starting a series of monthly breakfast and networking meetings for local business owners.
The first meeting is scheduled for 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 22, at the Upfront Theatre, 1208 Bay St. Future meetings are planned for the third Thursday of each month.
“We are really excited to add this new monthly get-together in addition to our member lunches,” Mariah Ross, the nonprofit’s sustainable business development manager, said in a Feb. 15 press release. “Galen at the Upfront Theatre has such contagious enthusiasm about networking; it’s sure to help make these meetings entertaining and fun.”
The idea came from conversations with Thrive Business Group, a Sustainable Connections member-business owned by Siobhan Murphy and Bellingham Screen Printing’s Myra Harmer, according to the release.
The breakfast will be available for $10 with RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. Sustainable Connections is online at www.sustainableconnections.org.
