Horizon Bank announced that Mark Swanson has been promoted to manage both their Cornwall and Holly offices in Bellingham.

For the past two years, Swanson has been managing their Lynden office.  In his new role, Swanson will focus on developing personal and business relationships for Horizon’s downtown Bellingham customer base. Swanson has also been selected as an employee campaign coordinator for United Way of Whatcom County and looks forward to becoming better acquainted with the Bellingham community.

Horizon Bank also announced that Abe Castellon has been promoted to retail office manager of their Lynden office. Castellon had been with the bank for the past three years holding positions such as bank teller and personal banker.

In his new role, Castellon will focus on ensuring that the financial needs of customers are being met and developing community business relationships. Castellon is a current member of the Washington Latino Business Association in Whatcom County and speaks fluent Spanish.
