The Bellingham Business Journal

The Synergos Business Development & Networking Group, which will turn one next month, has elected and inducted a new board of directors.

The new board: Tim Villhauer of Edward Jones, president; Brad Bytnar of Jern’s Funeral Chapels, president-elect; Diane Aaron of All Phase Repair and Maintenance, treasurer; and Catherine Reis-El Bara of Highland Care Center, secretary. Cindy Polly of Birch Bay Tax and Accounting will remain on the board as immediate past-president, along with Eric Nelson of Horizon Bank as chairman.

“We are a group of local professionals and business owners who are passionate about working together to improve ourselves, our business skills, our businesses and our community,” said Tim Villhauer, Synergos president. “The founding members of Synergos really took the time to get this group right and create a model that adds real value for its members.”

Synergos has been partnered with Evergreen Team Concepts (ETC), a Bellingham-based training company, since its inception. A few benefits of membership are ETC workshops, monthly guest speakers from organizations like WWU, SBA, SCORE and opportunities to give back to the community.

Guests are welcome Fridays at 7:15 a.m. at ETC, located at 3600 Meridian St. #100, to find out more about the Synergos perspective and difference. To learn more, visit the Synergos Web site at www.nwsynergos.com.
