The Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington awarded five local students scholarships at its eighth annual Tech Stomp event in September.

Joshua Bender and Emily Cook of Western Washington University, Israel Gravning of Whatcom Community College, Justin Johnny of Northwest Indian College and Jose Villalta of Bellingham Technical College will each receive a $1,000 scholarship.

TAG’s scholarship program, which began in 2000, is funded by member donations, sponsorships and fundraisers.
