A new TCBY frozen-yogurt shop is now open next to the Regal Cinemas theater complex in Bellingham’s Barkley Village.
And while a “soft” opening took place on May 24, the store plans to host a grand-opening event from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 22. TCBY, which stands for The Country’s Best Yogurt, in Bellingham is located at 3011 Cinema Place, Suite 101.
“We are honored to join the TCBY team and help bring a new family-friendly and healthy social option to Bellingham residents,” store franchisee Jack Padia said, in a press release. “Knowing the rich heritage TCBY has, it is exciting to be part of this fresh and innovative return of this legendary brand particularly as it’s the original ‘Fro-yo’ out there. With so many exciting flavor possibilities and store executions, we look forward to becoming a partner with the community and integrate their insight into our store strategy.”
A variety of promotions and activities are planned for the grand opening, including frozen-yogurt giveaways and raffle drawings with proceeds benefitting the Boys & Girls Club of Whatcom County. Updates can be found on the Bellingham store’s Facebook page.
