The Woods Coffee has released a new “Cold Brew” iced coffee.

The drink is brewed over the course of 12 hours using an organic coffee blend.

“One of my favorite drinks for years has been iced coffee, but sometimes it can have a bitter aftertaste,” said Wes Herman, owner of The Woods Coffee, in a press release. “After months of testing different coffees and brewing variations, we’re very happy to introduce Cold Brew, a better-tasting iced coffee option.”

According to the members of the Herman family, who developed the new brew over the course of several months, the brewing process creates a drink with two-thirds less acidity than traditional iced coffee, which results in a smoother taste.

The Cold Brew coffee is available at all Woods Coffee locations in Whatcom County.
