Karen King recently moved her counseling office from Boulder, Colo. to the Bellingham Towers at 119 N. Commercial St., Suite 320. She opened the doors to Karen King Counseling June 13.

King is an expert in solution focused brief therapy, which focuses on what clients want to achieve through therapy rather than on problems. She provides solution focused therapy, as well as classes on issues ranging from depression and chronic pain management to stress and parenting, for individuals and groups.

In addition to working with clients through her private practice, King will also work with local health clinics, including Interfaith and SeaMar community health centers.
