Job seekers can attend three different career fairs in the next couple weeks. Bellingham Technical College, Western Washington University and Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington are all hosting career fairs that are open to the public and include representatives from a variety of different industries.
BTC Industrial Technology and Manufacturing Career Fair
First up is the Industrial Technology and Manufacturing Career Fair at Bellingham Technical College. This year, the college is combining its career fair with a financial fair.
Both events are free and open to the public and take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 16 in BTC’s Settlemeyer Hall, on the first floor of the Campus Center building.
The career fair will include representatives from about 25 employers, including Boeing and the state Department of Transportation. The fair is sponsored by Anvil, Dunkin & Bush, Manpower, and Shell Puget Sound Refinery. Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and bring resumes, according to a press release from the college.

TagNW Tech Expo April 24
Technology Alliance Group for Northwest Washington is hosting its annual Tech Expo from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on April 24 in the lobby of the Best Western Lakeway Inn.
The expo aims to connect local tech companies with each other and with job seekers. This year’s expo will have a promotion area where companies can promote their work in five minute TED-style pitches. The expo will also have private interviewing rooms and a cocktail hour from 8 to 9 p.m. at Poppe’s 360, at the Lakeway Inn. The event is free and open to the public.

WWU Winter Career Fair April 23
Western Washington University’s Spring Career fair goes from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, in the Viking Union Multi-purpose Room. The fair is free and open to the public.
The fair includes employers from private sector companies, nonprofit organizations and government agencies. Representatives from graduate schools will also attend.
