Two Larson Gross CPAs earn credential

Daniel Obbink and Bethany Andrew, certified public accountants at Bellingham-based Larson Gross, earned the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) credential issued by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

The credential is awarded to CPAs who have demonstrated expertise in business valuation, passed an exam and completed 75 hours of valuation education.

About 120 CPAs in Washington state have earned the credential. Of the seven CPAs in Whatcom and Skagit counties who have earned the ABV credential, four are team members at Larson Gross, according to a press release from the firm.

Obbink joined Larson Gross in 2010 and has more than 16 years of accounting experience. He is a aenior manager in the firm’s audit & attest department and a participant in a national partner development training program.

Andrew has more than 11 years of accounting experience and has been with Larson Gross since 2009. She is a manager in the audit & attest department.
