Two recent Whatcom County property deals have both closed with sale prices above $2 million.

South Bay Properties LLC of Bellingham sold its properties at 2211 Douglas Ave. and 930 23rd St.—both in Bellingham—to A & J Seattle LLC, a company registered in Lynnwood, Wash., according to the Washington Secretary of State’s office.

The properties sold together for $2.5 million.

The mixed-use commercial and residential building at 2211 Douglas Ave., located just north of Western Washington University and Bill McDonald Parkway, is home to the Alexandra Apartments and J J’s In and Out.

Outside of Bellingham, 51 residential lots at Whiskey Creek in Lynden have been sold by the Holt Distressed Property Fund, a Delaware-based limited partnership, to Encore Homes Inc., which is based in Marysville, Wash.

The lots sold for $2,678,000.
