United Way of Whatcom County board of directors welcomed three new members at its June 26 meeting. Scott Corzine, Cindy Klein and Corey Chaplin were all unanimously voted on to the board.
Scott Corzine, a major account executive for Puget Sound Energy, has been involved in United Way before as a loaned executive from Puget Sound Energy in 1990, the first year United Way of Whatcom County raised over $1 million.
Although new to the Bellingham area, Cindy Klein brings years of experience from her participation with United Way in West Virginia. There, Klein served as chairman of the board and also dedicated her time to multiple committees.
Corey Chaplin, manager of projects at CH2M Hill, is a long-time contributor to United Way and said he is anxious to help continue the vital role United Way of Whatcom County plays in our community.
The Board of Directors comprises volunteer corporate and community leaders in Whatcom County, all of whom are committed to improving lives and building a strong community.
