Village Books starts business book discussion group

Village Books in Fairhaven is starting a new business book discussion group. Starting in September, The group will meet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. the third Tuesday of every month in the Readings Gallery at Village Books.

The group is open to anyone interested in discussing any type of business or profession, according to a news release.

The group’s name, “Sharpen your saw: A business book discussion group,” comes from Stephen Covey’s book “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.”

The groups’ book schedule for fall 2014 is:

Sept. 16: Give and take: A revolutionary approach to success, by Adam Grant.
Oct. 21: Brick by Brick: How LEGO rewrote the rules of innovation and conquered the Global Toy Industry, by David Robertson and Bill Breen.
Nov. 18: Humble inquiry: The gentle art of asking instead of telling, by Edgar H. Schein.
