Vision Plus, a Bellingham-based optometry company, is opening a new clinic in June at 801 Alabama St., in the old Horizon Bank building near Traders Joe’s.

The company bought the building in January and will be locating its corporate offices there along with an eye clinic. The company is growing and needs dedicated headquarters, said Dr. Mark Aginsky, company president.

“We basically haven’t had a corporate office up until this point,” Aginsky said.

Vision Plus recently applied for a permit to do $75,000 in improvements to the building. This will be the tenth clinic in Washington for the seven-year-old company.
