The Volunteer Center of Whatcom County is accepting nominations for Volunteers with Heart, a yearlong volunteer recognition program.

Organizations and community members are encouraged to submit nominations online. Nominees must be volunteering at an active Volunteer Center partner agency. Nominations need to include a short statement about why a particular volunteer has heart, along with a photo and contact information . The deadline is Jan. 31.

A volunteer committee reviews nominations quarterly and selects  honorees.
