Timothy C. Vail has joined Waddell & Reed as a financial adviser for the Whatcom County area.

As a personal financial adviser, Vail will help develop customized financial plans, recommend investment strategies and counsel clients throughout the area. Vail said he has a passion for financial planning and enjoys working closely with others, which he believes makes him an ideal fit for a financial adviser.

Prior to joining Waddell & Reed, Vail, 46, was a church planter missionary with Asian Access for 15 years. He has also worked for Premier Agendas as a sales consultant. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University.
