The Washington Policy Center is holding a series of small-business forums throughout the state between September and December.
A forum in Bellingham will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Bellingham Sportsplex. It is co-presented by the Bellingham-Whatcom Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Business Pulse Magazine and the Northwest Business Club, and it is part of the Northwest Business Expo and Technology Showcase.
Forums will include discussions on regulatory reform, health care and other topics.
“These forums are a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about and engage on the biggest obstacles to a healthy economy in Washington,” said Erin Shannon, director of the WPC’s Center for Small Business, in a press release. “But these aren’t just about listening, we want active participation, which is why we’ll be gathering feedback from people on the ‘front lines’ of running a business. That’s a perspective desperately needed in Olympia.”
