The Office of Secretary of State is accepting nominations for a 2016 Corporations for Communities Award until Wednesday, August 31. The winner will be announced in late September.
Secretary of State Kim Wyman will choose the winner, and an award ceremony will take place in her office, date to be determined.
“Washington is blessed to have many companies that make a difference by giving back in various ways,” Wyman said in a press release. “Corporations for Communities offers people a chance to nominate companies that contribute, so I encourage the public to take a moment to make a nomination.”

Past winners include TreeTop, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories and Ikea.
