Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center (WDRC), in partnership with the local business Boccemon, is looking for sponsors for the largest bocce tournament in Washington state, to be held April 16 at the Sportsplex in Bellingham.

Business sponsors will have the opportunity to put together a team to compete in the tournament. WDRC envisions the event as a team-building opportunity for staff of local businesses, however if businesses cannot round up players, the WDRC will provide local bocce fans to play on the sponsored teams.

All profits from the tournament will go to WDRC, a nonprofit organization founded in 1992, dedicated to educating and training the public in peaceful conflict resolution skills, and providing trained mediators to empower the community to resolve conflicts in equitable and cooperative ways.
