Starting April 14, Western Washington University Youth Program will offer an Early Release Enrichment program for Bellingham School District students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The seven Thursday sessions will allow students to explore topics in sciences, arts and culture and are held from 1:45-5 p.m. In addition to offering an alternative to traditional childcare, the program gives students the chance to participate in hands-on learning activities, as well as tour a college campus.
